1.Mount Athos:
According to an article called Renewal in Paradise, women were not allowed inside the rooms of men. To make sure that the men stayed virgin, women were not allowed to enter and until now this happens in some parts. Not only Mount Athos but there are other places in this world where this happens.
2. Sabrimala Temple:
Female between the age of 10-50 are not allowed inside the Sabrimala Temple of Kerala India. This rule has been made to make sure that no menstruating women enters the temple. According to the Hindu mythology, women are impure during their menstrual cycle.
3. Mount Ōmine:
Mount Ōmine of Japan is also a women restricted place. Japanese take the followers of folk religions as pure. Since 10th century, Mount Ōmine has been stated as the most sacred place in Japan. Women have not entered there since 13 hundred years. This is done to make sure that the women do not distract the monks there. In 2004 it was listed as the World Heritage Site.
4. Sport grounds of Iran:
Recently an Iran women went viral on the internet. After a video of a women dressed as a man watching sports was uploaded on the internet, it created a wave. Women are not allowed to enter the spot grounds during boxing, swimming and football matches.
5. Haji Ali Grave:
Haji Ali Grave is among the popular and loved places of India, Mumbai. It is in a small island of Mumbai. It has ancient mosque and there is grave of popular Muslim religion guru Haji Ali. Women are not allowed in there. According to Muslim culture, women are not allowed near the gr@ve.
