The head researcher of Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute of Britain’s University of Manchester Angelica Mallari said that the fact about how the lungs cancer’s cell affects the cell recycling process and separates them from the neighboring cells has been found out in the research for the first time. According to the results revealed in conclusion, one protein (TIMA1) works to hold cells together. When there is anything wrong during the repairing of the cells, TIMA1 gets destroyed and the cells are separated. The bad cells are replaced by good cells. But in the condition of lungs cancer, the process gets irregular which results in destruction of TIMA1 protein gets destroyed in huge amount and the cancers cells start to spread. By controlling the recycling process, spreading of lungs cancer can be prevented.
According to Cancer Researcher UK’s Nail Berry, there is a huge need to deep study for the cure in early stage and there will be a day when the cancer cells can be totally controlled. This can be a temporary solution for cancer. The study has been posted in research newspaper ‘Cell Reports’.
