ISSUE OF THE DAY

Educated sources, be that as it may, told the Post that there is very little to expect, as it is improbable that Nepal will sign an arrangement on Nepal turning out to be a piece of One, Belt One Road activity and convention on the Transit Transportation Agreement (TTA), with China amid the visit.

One Belt, One Road is China’s point of interest program to put billions of dollars in framework ventures including railroads, ports and power networks crosswise over Asia, Africa and Europe. The TTA was marked in March a year ago amid then PM KP Sharma Oli’s visit to Beijing, according to which Nepal can use Chinese ports and land courses for third-nation exchange. A convention on the TTA is, in any case, yet to be agreed upon.

PM Dahal is planned to leave for China on March 23 to partake in Boao Forum for Asia. A welcome for the same was gotten by PM Dahal on Thursday, and arrangements are in progress for his visit to Beijing also, said authorities. PM Dahal’s gatherings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang are yet to be settled.
