Police on Monday evening shot poisonous gas shells at Jamal in Kathmandu to scatter the fomenting nonconformists of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).

RPP is a coalition accomplice in the occupant Pushpa Kamal Dahal-drove government with four pastors and state priests.

The RPP supporters had achieved Jamal to picket the Election Commission (EC’s) office against the sacred body’s choice to erase ‘established government’ and ‘Hindu state’ from the gathering statute.

It has been learnt that the police hurled poisonous gas shells after the RPP supporters attempted to break the police blockade.

The EC on Friday had chosen to expel a few segments from the RPP statute asserting that the segments negated sacred arrangements of republican request and secularism.

Taking after the EC’s choice, the gathering on Saturday had chosen to move the Supreme Court against the EC’s choice to delete a few segments of the statute.
